About Blank Space Copy
Blank Space Copy is a focused browser tool for preparing blank-looking Unicode characters, checking what was copied and understanding why the same text behaves differently across apps.
What this site does
The homepage creates an exact sequence from one of four documented characters. Its checker counts and identifies a focused set of blank, spacing and format characters without changing the input. The guide explains how the available characters differ, and the help page diagnoses copy, paste, save and display failures.
The product is designed around a short task: prepare text, use it in another field, then verify what happened. It does not promise that another app will accept or display a character.
Who operates it
Blank Space Copy is the operating name used for this independent website. It is not affiliated with Unicode, a browser vendor, a messaging platform, a game or a social network.
The site does not require an account. Product questions, correction reports and privacy requests go to the contact address below.
How information and tools are checked
Character names, code points, general categories and White_Space classifications are pinned to the Unicode Character Database, version 18.0.0, dated August 7, 2026. The site labels everyday descriptions separately from formal Unicode properties.
- Fixed examples test the exact output for U+3164, U+2800, U+200B and U+00A0.
- Counts use Unicode code points, which are not always the same as visible letters, emoji or cursor positions.
- Clipboard success appears only after the browser reports a successful write. A manual selection route remains available.
- The checker preserves the original input and reports positions instead of silently removing or normalizing characters.
- Browser testing checks the main task flow and responsive layout; target-app behavior must be tested in that app.
What the site can and cannot verify
A result on this site can confirm the prepared code points, their count and whether the focused checker finds them. It cannot control clipboard permissions, fonts, trimming, normalization, validation or account rules in another app.
“No flagged characters” means only that the checker found none from its documented set. It is not a security scan, content-authenticity test or exhaustive Unicode analysis.

Reports are reviewed against the stated scope and source version. A correction can update the copy, tests or character data as appropriate.
